Welcome to the Town of Lucama. The town was founded in 1889. It was originally known as Crossroads.
Lucama’s official population is 1131. We are a full-service community. We provide our residents with water and sewer services, electricity, police protection, garbage and recycling, and yard waste collection.
Lucama and the surrounding area is served by Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department and by the Wilson County EMS for Paramedic and EMT care and transport to area hospitals.
