And thank you for visiting the town of Lucama’s website. I hope our website and town staff are able to provide you with the best possible resources needed to assist you.

As the mayor of Lucama, I am absolutely honored and privileged to be serving the citizens of our town. Having this trust placed in me by our citizens to invest in our ever-growing community is what I consider a critical mission for me, and our town commissioners, to achieve. 

Moving to Lucama in 2011, my wife and I have been raising three beautiful girls in what I believe is one of the safest environments in Wilson County. I welcome and invite you to visit our historic downtown and experience its small-town charm, as well as to experience our friendly community in which we pride ourselves.

Our town offers the uniqueness of a quiet, small-town atmosphere with our National Historical Registry locations in the downtown area, a beautiful park, a blue ribbon awarded elementary school, meals on wheels for senior living programs, multiple choices for church worship, and easy access to Wilson, Goldsboro, Greenville, Raleigh, and Kenly. All of this and more encompasses the uniqueness of Lucama.

As we move forward, I look forward to further growth to better our town, all while keeping the uniqueness of the small-town charm we so dearly love and improving the quality of life for our citizens by embracing the future.
